Membership
We are a small friendly club who focus on helping each other improve in the performance of entertaining and memorable magic. The annual subscription is currently £40 per season. The season runs from September to June and meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month starting on the third Thursday of September through to June. The Circle has a summer break during July and August. Meetings cover all the different aspects of magic and members perform at most meetings according to the subject of the meeting (see what’s on page for the list of meetings).
New members (welcome!)
New members are welcome (from 16 years upwards) if you have a genuine interest in performing magic as an enthusiast, semi-professional, or full time magician male or female. The Club does not give individual tuition to beginners, but we all learn as a group from each other’s varied skills in magic, workshop meetings and occasional lectures from visiting magicians.
Meeting Venue
The Bath Circle meets at St Mary’s Church hall, Queens Square BS31 3EL (off High Street) in Saltford half way between Bristol and Bath.
Activities
Apart from our regular meetings, we organise our own public shows in partnership with other organisations including charities, schools and festivals. In 2015 and 2017, the Bath Circle featured it’s own close-up and stage show as part of the Saltford Festival.
